We still have bus 8 students on campus. There is currently no bus for these students. We are waiting on an ETA from transportation. If you would like to pick your students up please come to the front office with your ID.
We had to update the qr code for the 4th grade and 5th grade data and donuts event. Please use this one to register. Spaces are limited.
4th and 5th grade data and donut day is coming up. You must rsvp to attend. Use the qr code to rsvp. We will close the rsvp once we hit our capacity. RSVP to ensure you have a spot.

Two meetings have been scheduled for a stakeholder working group to discuss and recommend new school boundaries potentially impacting multiple middle schools on the Westside for the 2025-26 school year.
The boundary change discussion involves the following middle schools: Chaffee Trail Middle, Westside Middle, Westview K-8, Baldwin Middle-Senior, and Lakeshore Middle School. The change is under consideration due to significant overcrowding projected at Chaffee Trail Middle School.
Here is the information for the upcoming meetings:
Feb. 6, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
Feb. 10, 2025, at 5:30 p.m.
Both meetings will be held at:

Both meetings are open to the public and include a time for public comment.
Attention parents! The window to submit School Choice applications closes tomorrow, January 31st. Be sure to check out all of the opportunities for students in Duval County Public Schools. Please be aware that Chaffee Trail Elementary will not have lottery seats available for the 2025-2026 school year. Due to an increase in attendance zone numbers, we are unable to offer spots to those outside of our current zone.

New boundaries are being considered for multiple middle schools on the Westside, and stakeholders are invited to provide input into this important conversation beginning Monday, Jan. 27.
The discussion involves Chaffee Trail Middle, Westside Middle, Westview K-8, Baldwin Middle-Senior, and Lakeshore Middle. This effort aims to alleviate overcrowding at Chaffee Trail Middle School.

The meeting will include:
