State Testing begins April 13th for all K-2nd and May 1st 3rd–5th students, and we want to make sure EVERY student is fueled and focused!
We are collecting nut-free, individually wrapped snacks (no candy please) from April 8–30 to provide a snack for students after testing each day.
If you are able, please send donations to the Front Office. Every box, every pack, every donation makes a difference!
Let’s work together to support our students as they show what they know. 💪🏽📚

🤝 How it works:
After enrollment, each child is thoughtfully matched with a mentor based on shared interests—building a connection that supports confidence, growth, and success.
🌟 Program options:
• Community-Based Mentoring – Spend 4–7 hours/month doing fun activities while working toward personal goals
• Site-Based Mentoring – Meet 1 hour/week at a school or partner site to support academic and personal success

Our Kindergarten through 2nd grade students at Fort Caroline Elementary had a wonderful opportunity to experience the art of dance through a special visit from the Florida Ballet School!
Students enjoyed a variety of performances that showcased different styles of dance, including classical ballet, contemporary, and hip hop. One of the highlights of the presentation was learning about pointe shoes—how they work and how dancers use them to perform on their toes.
This engaging experience not only entertained our students but also introduced them to the creativity, discipline, and beauty of dance. We are grateful to the Florida Ballet School for sharing their talents and inspiring our young learners!

CELEBRATING SCHOOL COUNSELORS — Team Duval is proud to recognize National School Counseling Week and the incredible impact our more than 240 school counselors make every single day. They advocate for students, help them navigate their academic journeys, and guide them toward their goals. Our success as an A-rated district with a 97.6% graduation rate would not be possible without these dedicated professionals. As part of this special week, dozens of counselors gathered at the Schultz Center for their annual conference, focused on building student “superpowers” like grit and resilience – perfectly aligned with the national theme of helping students thrive and preparing them for college, career, and life. Their commitment to growing their own “superpowers” directly fuels student success across Team Duval. Join us in thanking our outstanding school counselors for the lasting difference they make in our schools and community!

Please join us for our 3rd grade parent night at 5:00 p.m. Come out and receive some important information from your student's teachers. We also have refreshments and each student that comes receives 20 bonus bizi points. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
