Big Smiles Florida is bringing no-cost in-school dental care to FCE on Tuesday, May 6th and Monday, May 12th. This program will include cleaning, x-rays, an exam, fluoride treatment, and silver diamine fluoride on back teeth that treats decay and sealants when needed. Please complete and return forms by April 17th if you would like your child to see the dental van at school. Students who score in the GREEN or make GROWTH on FAST PM 3 will be rewarded with a Bounce House Green Party on May 27th!

The Read USA Book Fair is April 1st!
Students, join us for a movie during Early Release (1:15-3:00 p.m.) on March 26th! The cost is $5.00 (cash only). This includes the movie, popcorn, and a drink. We will be showing a PG rated movie. Money and permission slips are due tomorrow.

Good afternoon families! In February, Southside Middle, Andrew Jackson High, and Englewood High were selected as schools of the month. The competition was strong, but these three schools stood out in how they support their students through adversity; each of these schools received a $1,000 award.
DCPS continues our partnership with our good friends at Community First Credit Union to recognize schools-of-the-month in the new year, we hope this fuels your passion to showcase the amazing things your school is doing to support students. Individual and Class Picture Day is on March 6, 2025!
