Free Tutoring Support Available through Varsity Tutors!
We’re excited to share that all students have free access to Varsity Tutors—a powerful online learning tool available through our Blended Learning platform.
What is Varsity Tutors?
- Varsity Tutors is a trusted education platform built to support today’s learners. It offers live, interactive tutoring sessions with real experts, covering a wide range of subjects. Best of all, it's free for your child to use! Whether your student needs help with math, reading, science, or just wants to sharpen their skills, this is an amazing resource to have at their fingertips.
How can students access it?
Students can log in through their Blended Learning account and follow the link to Varsity Tutors. From there, they can explore available tutors and schedule sessions that fit their needs.
We encourage all families to take advantage of this opportunity to boost learning and confidence. If you have questions or need help logging in, please contact your child’s teacher or our school office.

Attendance Works!
Please see attached flyer for information on the importance of attendance and what you can do as a parent to support student attendance.
We will be scheduling attendance intervention meetings this month for students who have missed 5 days in a calendar month or 10 days in a 90 day period.
Parents check FOCUS for attendance accuracy.
Letters have been sent home.

***November is Family Engagement in Education Month***
At Hyde Park we know the crucial role parents and families play in their child's education.
We have dedicated November 17 -21 as our Family Engagement week.
Please see attached flyer for activities to encourage family engagement and foster strong relationships between school and home.
This is also a great time to schedule a parent/teacher conference. You can do so by contacting your child's teacher via Rooms or sending an email.

Hello Wildcat Families,
Please see attached flyer for information on iReady, a DCPS Blended Learning platform and how you can support your child at home. Each week your child should aim for 45 mins of iReady usage and 2-3 lesson passed. Students are provided time during centers to work on their lessons, but they can also access iReady at hom.
