Free Health Services - Duval County Public Schools' continued partnership with Hazel Health allows students to receive high-quality telehealth care at no cost to their families. Students can receive virtual medical care or teletherapy at school or home on any smartphone, tablet, or computer. All Hazel Health visits are safe and confidential. Hazel Health providers are available to all students, regardless of insurance, and there is no out-of-pocket expense for the family to initiate a visit. Providers are available Monday -Friday, 7 am-5 pm. Visits can also be initiated at home. Consent forms are good for the duration of time that the student is with DCPS.

Our students embarked on a journey back in time during their visit to Fort Caroline, where they explored the era of European exploration and the rich history of the Indigenous peoples of North Florida. 🗺️✨
They learned about the daily lives of these Indigenous communities, including their hunting techniques, crafting skills, and how they thrived in harmony with their environment. The students were captivated by stories of resilience and resourcefulness! 🎣🛖
In addition to cultural lessons, the visit highlighted the region's unique environment and native species, giving students a complete picture of the past and its impact on the world we know today. 🌾🦎

Today, our students had a fantastic opportunity to dive into the wonders of our local environment, right from their classroom! Our guest, a knowledgeable forest ranger, enlightened us about the fascinating ecosystems, diverse wildlife, and beautiful native landscapes surrounding us. 🦌🦉
Students were thrilled to explore real furs and skulls from local species, gaining a deeper understanding of animal adaptations and characteristics. It was a hands-on experience that brought learning to life! 🐻🐺
This visit educated our young minds about nature and inspired them to appreciate and protect our precious environment. We thank our amazing forest ranger for sparking curiosity and passion! 🌍✨
