Our 5th graders showcased their amazing Literacy Pumpkins, bringing favorite book characters to life with creativity and fun! 🎨✨
Students in K–5 enjoyed a pumpkin walk, checking out all the wonderful designs and choosing their favorites. 🍂👀
The 5th graders then voted for pumpkins in four special categories:

Ms. Lavello’s little learners and Ms. Kircher’s big kids teamed up for a magical dive into the world of nocturnal animals, especially bats! Using the sweet story Stellaluna, students flapped into reading fun by sequencing events, comparing bird and bat traits, and practicing listening skills.📖🦇
