Tuesday, May 12th - 2nd grade STAR Math testing
Wednesday, May 13th - 3rd, 4th, & 5th grade FAST Math PM 3 Assessment. Please ensure students are well rested, present, and on time to school.
Thursday, May 14th - 5th Grade State Science Assessment, 3rd & 4th Grade District End of Course Science Exam. Please ensure students are well rested, present, and on time to school. 5th Grade Middle School Signing Night Join us at 5:30 as 5th graders begin the transition to middle school. All students will receive a bag with supplies and books for next year.
Friday, May 15th - Spirit Day - Students will represent their House and compete in activities to determine the House of the Year. Don't forget to wear clothes and shoes for outdoor activities. Students should also bring a water bottle.

Attention Bus Riders
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open. You must register your student for the bus for the new school year. To ensure they can ride the bus on the first day of school, register your student by 7/22. NVE Weekly Update May 4th - 8th
Good evening NVE families. It is hard to believe that the school year is almost over. We have just under 1 month left. There are lots of important events happening in May so please continue to monitor our announcements and check out the monthly newsletter and calendar.
This week is Teacher Appreciation Week. Take time to show our teachers how much you appreciate all they do for our students' success. We have provided some suggestions, but any token is greatly appreciated.
All grades will test this week. May 5th 2nd grade ELA STAR, May 6th 3rd-5th ELA FAST PM 3, and May 7th KG & 1 STAR Math. Please ensure they are well rested, present, and on time for their assessment day.

5th Grade parents - Prom tickets are now on sale. Prom will be held on May 22nd. Tickets need to be purchased by May 15. Flyers were sent home this past week. Reach out to your teachers for additional information if needed.
PTA is electing our officers for next year. There is a current vacancy for Secretary to take minutes during our meetings. Meetings are virtual on Zoom.
