Paxon receives new seating area on campus
Paxon is grateful to Mr. Will Brewer, Paxon IB Senior, for creating a new seating area on our campus for all to enjoy. This new area serves as Will's Eagle Scout project. The new area not only provides a beautiful and comfortable area to sit, it also boasts a new little free library, so that our school community can share and promote a love of books.
At Paxon, our students are willing to provide service to our school community. Thank you, Will, for this wonderful enhancement to our campus!

Greetings Eagles!
We are back with a final informational update before our return to school Monday, August 11th.
Class Schedules/Bell Schedules
Students will receive a new schedule on colored paper each of the first two days of school. To facilitate this process, we will be on a special bell schedule for the first two days of school. Please review the alternate schedule on the published flyer. Please also make sure you download our regular bell schedule and calendar which are also included in this message.
Pick-up and Drop Off
Pick-up and drop-off for students occurs at the front of the school. Cars waiting for students and those dropping off students should pull to the right side of the driveway. The left side of the driveway is for thru traffic. We ask all cars to pull up as far as possible. Students can be dropped off as early as 7 AM. Students must be picked up no later than 3:15 PM.
Safety
Beginning the first day, upon arrival to school, all students must pass through our Evolve weapons detection system. Please refer to the flyer for details about procedures for entering the school.
Lunch
During the first week of school, the lunch lines may move slowly, and lunch service may extend past the lunch bell. Please be advised that every student will be permitted to receive a lunch and complete their lunch prior to returning to class while the campus adjusts. To facilitate lunch service, we ask that students refer to the flyer previously distributed to know when they have lunch. We again encourage every family to complete the lunch application to determine your free/reduced lunch status.
Free/Reduced Lunch Applications
Open House
We are excited to invite you to our Open House on Monday, August 18th at 6 PM. Additional details will be distributed soon.
The faculty and staff of Paxon School for Advanced Studies is excited to see each of you. We have the highest expectations for another wonderful school year. Please review the information included in this message and our previous back-to-school messages to ensure a wonderful beginning.
We will see you in the halls!
