Wildcat Families, The district remains in direct contact with the Jacksonville Emergency Management team regarding the potential for dangerous winter weather coming into our area. Given the possibility for unsafe conditions, DCPS will be closed on Wednesday, Jan. 22.
Wildcat Families - As a reminder, state testing continues tomorrow for our 3rd-5th grade students. It is important that your student is at school tomorrow and the rest of the week. Please make sure you bundle your student up, it is cold outside!

Penguin Patch, our PTA Holiday Shop, is coming December 9-12! Students can shop for small gifts for family and friends. The attached parent letter and a gift list envelope will be coming home the week of December 2. Check with your child's teacher for the specific day your student will be shopping! We also need volunteers to help students shop and wrap their gifts. Use the link below to sign up to volunteer. You must have DCPS volunteer clearance. The Boosterthon Danceathon was an absolute blast today! Our students had an amazing time at the Dance Party! We've raised nearly $6,000 toward our $12,000 goal—such a great start. The exciting news is that Boosterthon has extended the donation deadline by one more week, so there's still time to make those last-minute contributions! Visit mybooster.com to pledge.
