Principal's Sunday Message 5/25/25 Great Sunday Twin Lakes family! This is Principal Williams. I hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend with family and friends. There is no school Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day and the last day of school is Friday, May 30th. We will be on a modified schedule with dismissal at 1:15pm. There’s no extended day, so all students must be picked up no later than 1:30pm. This week, we will continue with our academic celebrations with our 6th Grade Awards and 7th Grade Awards Celebrations. The awards ceremony for 6th grade will be Tuesday, May 27th at 10am and 7th grade will be Wednesday, May 28th at 10am. Both ceremonies by invitation only will be held in the auditorium. Students are allowed to bring two guests for capacity reasons. We are asking for students to dress nicely for their awards ceremonies, no jeans or T-shirts. Also, students will receive their 2025-2026 Course Elective Option form via email (OneView) this week. Students have until June 20th to have this form completed. We will continue to do our best to schedule students with their first choice, but core is our primary focus. Our 2024-2025 school yearbooks are on sale and students can purchase a yearbook before school and during the lunch period this week. The cost is $40.00. Please reach out to Ms. Murray at murrayj@duvalschools.org for additional questions. Registration for Camp Timberwolves is now open. Please reach out to Ms. Mallory to reserve your spot or additional questions at malloryl1@duvalschools.org. As we transition to the final week of the 2024-2025 school year, students are expected to come to school daily with their school planner, student ID, and a clear or mesh backpack. Please know every time your child requests a new ID no matter if it is a temporary or permanent ID that there is a cost associated with the ID replacement. Some students have racked a lot of debt due to their inability to keep up with their assigned student ID. Please make sure your child has their student ID daily. If you have any questions regarding your child’s debt, please email AP Copeland at copelandd@duvalschools.org. Please review the attachment to help you to plan accordingly for this week’s activities. This is a great time for you to update any information on your child’s blue card or FOCUS. We are discovering that many parents need to update their information in FOCUS. Please understand if there is an emergency with your child the information in FOCUS must be accurate for us to inform you. Have a PACKful week! Twin Lakes Week of May 25th Activities
