Parent Right to Know & Part A Parent and Family Engagement Plan
School-Parent Compact Information
Families, our School-Parent Compact is an important part of our Title I family engagement process. The compact explains how the school, families, and students will work together to support academic success and student growth.
The compact outlines shared responsibilities, including how teachers will provide high-quality instruction, how families can support learning at home, and how students can take ownership of their education.
Copies of the School-Parent Compact are available for review on our school website and may also be requested through the main office. The compact is shared with families each year and discussed as part of our ongoing commitment to parent and family engagement.
To support access for all families, the compact is available in multiple languages as outlined in our Parent and Family Engagement Plan.
Thank you for partnering with Young Men Young Women Leadership Academy as we continue working together to support every student’s success.
Thanks,
Principal Mungin

McKinney Vento Info
The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act is a federal law ensuring that children and youth experiencing homelessness—defined as lacking a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence—have equal access to free, appropriate public education. It removes barriers to enrollment, attendance, and school success, providing immediate enrollment rights, transportation, and stability. [1, 2, 3]
