Special thanks to all the parents and guardians who made sure their child was in attendance for testing! We appreciate you!
If your child missed a day for any reason please make sure they are here this week for makeups. A makeup test is only given to students who were absent the day of testing.
Our 5th graders have one more assessment this week - Science. It will be given on Monday and Tuesday. Please make sure they are here.
Monday - Dress in Green! SAC Meeting at 5:30.
Tuesday we are having a Dance for attendance!!! All students who missed two days or less this month get to attend!! Wear holiday attire with bells and lights.
Wednesday is Early Release Day students will be dismissed at 1:15. We will have a special guest visit - The Grinch. Wear PJs.
Thursday is our Winter Wonderland Performance come watch your child perform. PreK- 2 @ 12:00 and 3rd-5th @ 1:15. Refreshments and prizes provided. Wear red and white - look like a candy cane
Friday is the last day of the 2nd quarter. Wear favorite holiday gear.

Special thank you to all remarkable parents that made sure their child was in school every day and on time. Our PreK - 2 testing went well. Please check your child's backpack for results!
This week our 3rd-5th students will be taking state testing. Please know that this test is very important and we need each child to do their BEST. Don't forget 3rd grade scores determine promotion. This test will give us an early read on who needs more support prior to the final test! Make sure they are here and on time every day this week🙂

We are having a Toy Extravaganza Giveaway on Saturday from 10:00-2:00 if you are in need stop by the school💜
Our Winter Wonderland Event is December 19th. Come see your child perform. Win door prizes, get free gifts, and have refreshments!
FREE Event
The Florida Department of Health-Duval County will be hosting a Health Fair on Friday, 10/25/2024, at our main campus at 515 W. 6th St., Jacksonville, 32209 from 10 am to 2pm and will be offering immunizations for 7th grade and kindergarten students. No appointment is necessary, and I have attached a Health Fair flyer with the event details.

Our 5000 Role Models 1st meeting is tomorrow from 3:15 -4:15. Please make sure your Role Model has on black pants and a white color shirt.
SAC Meeting tomorrow at 5:30
We kick off Red Ribbon Week on Wednesday. We will have a Red Ribbon Dance on Thursday. The cost is $2.00. All funds support student awards and incentives.
If you received an attendance letter, please stop by the school one day this week to meet.

Tomorrow is UNITY Day! Please have your child wear Orange to show unity! They do not have to be in uniform as long as they wear ORANGE!
Grades will be finalized tomorrow and report cards will come home next week. Please reach out for a parent conference to know where your child is.
Monday, October 21st is our SAC Meeting! It is scheduled at 5:30.
