This is a reminder that there is NO adult supervision before 8:00am. When I pulled up this morning, there were at least 50 unattended students. This is extremely dangerous. PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! Do NOT drop students off or allow them to walk before 8:00am.

Those students that were scheduled to go on the field trip tomorrow will be rescheduled to 11/21 due to the opposing team having a team illness. No further action is needed on your part.
Greetings North Shore Elementary families,
We had a great day of learning today, but I want to make you aware that we had an incident of a student bringing a prohibited item to school. Specifically, a student was found to be in possession of a toy gun and displayed it to other students. We were able to confiscate this item without incident, and at no time was the item used or displayed in a threatening manner. We are in direct contact with the family of the student involved, and the appropriate disciplinary consequences will be applied. While I am disappointed to report this, it does provide a good opportunity to remind everyone that items like these always pose a safety threat and are prohibited on any school campus. Please talk with your child about what is appropriate and not appropriate to bring to school. Please also check their backpacks daily. We appreciate your support in keeping North Shore Elementary a safe environment for students and staff. Thank you and have a wonderful weekend!
