FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL - The countdown is on — just ONE month until the first day of school on Monday, Aug. 10. Take small steps now to get ready: Adjust sleep schedules a little each week, gather school supplies and organize backpacks, keep learning going with 20 minutes of reading or math each day, mark important school dates on your family calendar, and start practicing morning routines. We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another amazing year!

**🌱 Community & Parent Volunteer Day at Venetia Elementary! 🌿**

It takes a village to help our school thrive, and we'd love your support!

We're looking for parents, families, community members, and local partners to join us for a **Campus Beautification Volunteer Day**. Together, we'll help make our campus an even more welcoming place for our students and staff.

Volunteer projects include:

* Planting flowers and refreshing our garden beds
* Raking leaves and clearing outdoor areas
* General grounds maintenance and beautification
* Light landscaping and campus cleanup
*NEEDED: Any parent/community partner with a weed eater and/or pressure washer. If you have those items, it would be great if you could bring them to use in a few areas.

Whether you can volunteer for an hour or the entire event, your time and talents will make a meaningful difference.
Date📅 & Time⌚: Thursday, July 16th from 8:30 AM-10:30 AM.

Ready to Roll? Bus Registration for the 2026-2027 School Year!

We are already looking forward to welcoming your students back for the 2026-2027 school year! To ensure a smooth journey on day one, all bus riders—both new and returning, in General Education and ESE—must register for transportation. Remember, you must have a Linked Parent Account to get started.

Important Dates to Remember:

Good Evening, Venetia Families! Thank you again for a wonderful school year. We hope your summer is off to a great start! We are officially packed and ready for our move. Venetia will transition into our temporary relocation space during the week of June 22. Be on the lookout for information about our Campus Beautification Day and school tour dates in July. These opportunities will allow students and families to visit and become familiar with our new space before we open our doors in August. We are looking forward to an amazing 2026–2027 school year as we embrace this temporary transition while our brand-new Venetia campus is being built. Exciting things are ahead, and we can’t wait to continue learning and growing together. Do you have an incoming kindergartner or know a family interested in joining Venetia? Good Evening Venetia Families! Happy Last Week of School! I want to take this time to thank you for all of your support this school year and helping Venetia to shine! 🌟 We have a short week this week with just three days left of school. Please have students return all library books, their red folder and any items belonging to the school. Tuesday, May 26th: 5th Grade Promotional Ceremony, 9:30 am. Please be sure to have a physical ID (license, passport, or military ID). Required for entry to the school. Thursday, May 28: Last Day of School, dismissal begins at 12:15 pm. No PM Extended Day.
