Hello 5th grade Families, It's time to order your 5th grade yard signs to congratulate your special elementary school graduate on his/her hard work! There are two options to order: A 2025 Loretto Elementary sign - $15 A personalized 2025 sign - $20 Order here: https://loretto_elementary__1335.kustomimprints.com/ All sign orders must be placed by March 21, 2025. No order can be accepted beyond this date. Signs will be delivered to the school (approximately two weeks after sales end) and can be picked up in the front office. You will be notified by email when the signs arrive. Please be sure you enter your best email contact when you place your order. Just a friendly reminder: Bus registration for the 2025-26 school year is now open! Registration is required for any student riding the bus in the 2025-26 school year – that includes students in self-contained ESE programs. The earlier you register, the better. Registration forms are in Focus, but you can head to www.duvalschools.org/busregistration first to find simple registration directions.

Good Evening,   After talking with the P.E coaches, the forecast for tomorrow is not good. As a result, the decision has been made to reschedule K-2's Play Day to Wednesday, March 12th. Hello parents and guardians, This is a friendly reminder about our upcoming Play Day event on Monday and Tuesday of next week. On Monday, March 10 1st grade will have play day from 8:35-9:50 am Kindergarten will be from 10:00-11:15 am AND 2nd grade will be from 11:50 am-1:05 pm On Tuesday, March 11 4th grade will have play day from 8:35-9:50 am 3rd grade will be 10:00-11:15 am AND 5th grade will be from 12:15-1:30 pm Rain is forecasted for Monday and in the event it does rain, Play Day for K thru 2 will be held on Wednesday, March 12. Please ensure your child wears their class T-shirt to show their class spirit sneakers for safety and comfort a hat to stay cool and protected from the sun AND If your child brings a water bottle, please label it with your child's name. We warmly invite parents to join us and cheer on the students. It's a wonderful opportunity to capture some memorable moments and support your child's physical education journey. There will be a parent sign-in located at the back field. No need to check-in at the front office - just drive your car around the loop and park in the back lot. The gates will close 10-15 minutes after the scheduled start of each playday. We look forward to seeing everyone there! Thank you!

Recently, Junior Gardeners experienced how grasshoppers and butterflies eat their food. Grasshoppers have strong mandibles that allow them to chew through leaves and other plant materials. They use their front legs to hold the food while they eat. Butterflies, on the other hand, have a long, coiled proboscis that they use like a straw to sip nectar from flowers. This fascinating experience must have given the Junior Gardeners a unique insight into the diverse ways insects feed.

Good Morning Parents, Please ensure that you remain in the right lane during drop-off in the morning, leaving the left lane open for vehicles exiting the campus. The left lane is designated for traffic coming from the CSS car line after dropping off students. These vehicles are not attempting to bypass the line; they are simply following the proper route for departure. Thank you for your cooperation!

Your Loretto Safety Patrols will be selling Valentine's Grams Feb 10-14! These will be Ring Pops the whole week for $1 ea. Just like Boo Grams, we will have collection points at the bus loop for completed grams and cash. There will also be a table set up in the main car loop to fill out grams and submit cash. Let's show some *LOVE* and help the Patrols get one step closer to reaching their fundraising goal for Washington DC!
